Just returned from a week away at The Old Forge. Beautiful cottage, scenery, lovely walks for all abilities, so peaceful and relaxing, just what I needed. By the second day, kids even asked if we can book again for next year (aged 13 and 10). I will certainly be trying to do just that.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. Cottage was immaculate and well equipped with everything we could need, it was modern and comfortable, plenty of room for 4 adults and a dog. Lovely summer house and outdoor area too! Local pub short walk away and so many country walks and villages to explore. We would definitely recommend! We will be back, so much more to see and a perfect place to stay.
