The Kitchen

The well-equipped modern kitchen is light with 1930’s Lake District railway prints. The oven and hob are electric, there is also a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and a breakfast table and chairs for four. There is a cupboard in the conservatory with steam iron, ironing board and also a child’s travel cot. There is also an inflatable double mattress for the unexpected guests.

From the kitchen there is a corridor to the big conservatory. There is a wall mounted large scale map of the area (OS 1:25,000), bookcase with avaried reading including local interest, maps, set of Wainwrights etc. There is also a cupboard with games.
